Winter Solstice New Moon

Return to the Root

Winter Solstice, The True New Year

This year offers something rare and powerful.

On December 19th, we have a New Moon in the Vedic constellation Mula, followed just two days later by the Winter Solstice on December 21st.

This creates a double initiation.

A lunar resetanda solar reset.

A new beginning layered on top of the deepest beginning of the year.

Mula means root.

It is the constellation, ruled by Kali (Nirriti), that takes us to the very core of the self, beneath identity, beneath roles, beneath the layers we have accumulated from family, culture, and expectation.

Mula does not ask what you want on the surface. It asks who you are at the root.

When this New Moon meets the Winter Solstice, the invitation is profound.

To go inward.

To become quiet.

To listen beneath the noise.

Because you cannot recognize that which is subtler than the heart of the heart.

The New Moon of the Year

In the natural cycles of time, Winter Solstice is the true New Year.

It is the moment when outer light is at its lowest, making inner light the most visible. Just as the monthly New Moon begins a lunar cycle, the Solstice begins the solar cycle of the year ahead.

From December 19th onward, I invite you to set aside real time to:

  • Deeply restore your core vitality

  • Regenerate a more authentic identity

  • Renew your goals, meaning, and intentions

  • Realign to your personal purpose and path

This is not only about vision boarding or forcing inspiration.

It is about diving within until there is no one left to dive. When the diver dissolves, Truth appears.

Vision Comes Before Action

After working with thousands of clients over the last decade plus, I am certain of this:

Every individual has a unique, fingerprint specific vision for living their best life.

When people look back, they rarely say, “I tried too hard.”

They say, “I wish I had clarified this sooner. I wasted time living by other people’s values.”

Clarifying your vision is not motivational fluff.

It establishes your internal compass, your true north, your North Star.

This Solstice, I am opening space for those who feel the call to clarify their vision, refine their mission, and strategically orient the year ahead.

This is not about hype or manifestation culture.

And it’s not about forcing action before clarity arrives.

It is about alignment, realism, timing, and truth.

Vision that is embodied.

Strategy that is organic.

Action that flows from who you are.

A life by design instead of a life by default.
